As much as we'd like to say, "no," unfortunately it does hurt a bit to get hit by a paintball. However, if you're out there wanting to play, win, and have fun, it doesn't affect you as much.
Wear loose, but not super baggy clothes. Items that you wouldn't be too upset over ruining. The paint does typically wash out, but you'll be kneeling, crawling, and running.
There are pod belts available to rent to carry extra paint onto the field. If you don't have that, or if you run out of air, you may take paint from a LIVE teammate. Otherwise, you can leave the game or serve as distraction to the other team or relay info to your team.
Yes. And no. You may use your own paintball equipment made for the expressed purpose of playing paintball. T-shirt cannons, gas masks, and riot shields (all real examples) are not allowed. As for the discount, the fee still covers the use of our equipment should any of yours present issues.
No. We are a Field Paint Only (FPO) facility. Main reason is safety. If paintballs are improperly kept, it can cause issues with impact on players and issues with equipment.
